Project "From Found to Functional"

The objective of the project was to utilize a found material at the recycling center to design a product that is inspired from a certain quality of the material.

Initial material experiments included stretching, heating, stacking and submerging the faux leather in order to see how it reacts to such alteration attempts.

By repeating the process of heating, forming and cooling, I was able to achieve a container form that stays in its shape.
